Why this work matters

Every transaction has a person on the other side.

Ignite & Elevate exists because healthcare operations are not abstract. When processes break, people wait. Teams carry the strain. Leaders make decisions without the visibility they need.

Jennifer O'Keefe, Founder of Ignite & Elevate

I did not build Ignite & Elevate because I wanted to create another traditional services firm. I built it because I know what happens when systems fail to see the people inside them.

For nearly two decades, I worked inside healthcare operations across payers, TPAs, providers, healthcare technology, claims, workflow, appeals, intake, revenue cycle, and transformation. I learned how decisions move through systems, where work gets stuck, how processes break, and how small operational gaps become real consequences.

Then I became the person waiting. During my own serious healthcare experience, I saw the system from the other side: delayed appointments, cancelled steps, conflicting recommendations, and the difference it makes when the right people and processes finally come together.

That experience changed how I see operations. Every claim, authorization, appeal, letter, routing rule, dashboard, and handoff has a person on the other side of it. When operations are unclear, people feel it. Teams feel it. Patients feel it. Leaders feel it.

Ignite & Elevate exists to make those issues visible. Organizations cannot improve what they cannot see. Leaders cannot fix root causes when they are only shown symptoms. Teams cannot sustain performance when accountability is unclear, processes are inconsistent, technology creates friction, or outcomes are not measured.

This is not about creating reports that sit on a shelf. It is about helping organizations see clearly enough to act.

Operating beliefs

The principles behind the work.

People drive outcomes

Processes and technology support performance, but people ultimately determine success.

Standardization creates scalability

Consistent execution reduces variation and creates the foundation for growth.

Technology should simplify

Systems should remove friction, automate repetitive work, and improve decisions.

Accountability must be visible

Every process, decision, metric, and outcome should have clear ownership.

Governance enables sustainability

Improvement lasts when oversight, measurement, and review are built into the work.

Outcomes define success

The goal is not activity. The goal is measurable improvement that matters.

The standard

Every process matters. Every person on the other side matters too.
